Il Sole Hotel - Bergamo

Ideal choice for a passing visit in Bergamo with best value. The staff was super helpful providing parking tips when we arrived. Don't skip the local restaurant nearby for authentic cuisine.

Location: marvellous, really close to the center of Citta Alta, amazing restaurants, bars and bakeries and bars. Also, right in the main square of Citta Alta...

the restaurant was particularly good with fast and knowledgeable staff here, i had appetising dishes. i had central heating, a work desk and a flat-screen tv with cable channels. the location in the middle of bergamo was ideal and efficient.

The staff were super accommodating, allowing our early check-in which helped with the kids in tow. Breakfast offered a wide range of good options that pleased the whole family.

My kids wished there were tea and coffee facilities in our room for late-night drinks.

The restaurant at Il Sole is a culinary treasure! The pizza and Aperol spritzes were marvelous. Plus, the bar area had a great vibe with fine mountain views. Staff like Paolo and Piolo elevated the experience with their really good hospitality.

Room 108 felt a bit cramped-my knees barely fit on the toilet! The shower was snug, and lighting could've been better. Still, it was all good since the overall charm of the hotel shined through!

Nestled in the charming Città Alta, this gem offers friendly staff and spacious, clean rooms. Breakfast dazzles with fresh cakes and great tea. The prime location means you're steps away from lively bars and excellent dining spots.

We enjoyed an excellent location right in the main square of the old city, with comfortable and spacious rooms, and the staff were friendly to our needs.

The only downside was the bathroom, which could use some updating for better comfort.

All good, fulfills its purpose. Perfect cleanliness with attentive staff.

The garden area was perfect for a quiet relaxation spot and enjoying the sunshine. The bathroom could use a little updating, but it didn't take away from our stay ☀️

The room was a decent size and super clean. The bed was really comfortable-not too soft! The linens felt fresh and were just right for the weather. I liked that there was a fan to keep things cool. The location is perfect, so easy to get around. Breakfast had a nice variety of fresh items, and we could grab as much coffee as we wanted!

Parking was a challenge and quite costly. The restaurant's limited operating hours resulted in missed dinner opportunities, although we thoroughly enjoyed breakfast.

Good hotel with excellent amenities like complimentary wi-fi, a cozy bar area, luggage storage, and a delicious breakfast. I'll never forget how the staff helped print my boarding pass on my first visit. Highly recommend! I'm coming back for Easter.

Our room was great with a balcony, and everything in it was top-notch. the breakfast spread was fantastic, especially the rich cappuccinos. the staff here couldn't have been more helpful. ☕
